The Lordship of Cameros extended across the mountainous region of Cameros, in what is now the autonomous community of La Rioja (northern Spain). Its era of greatest political power and territorial influence took place between the late 11th and 13th centuries, under the rule of the prominent noble House of Haro and their descendants in the service of the kings of Castile and Navarre.
